If it were 40-43in I'd be interested... 65in 4K is too large with too low a DPI for use as a monitor. I suppose there are people wanting it for an HTPC, but for me, it's on the small size for that rolle and I'll just stick with my 105" projector for that.
Can we stop even pretending that a display that "supports HDR10 transport" had even the vaguest relation to an actual HDR display? Nobody accepts that a 704x480 display that "accepts 1080p" is in any way a HD display, and the situation here is no different.
Still impatiently waiting for the Nvidia BFGD's to come out. Preferably in the 40 to 50 inch range, with FALD, quantum dot lighting, and VA panels. I'll pay whatever they ask for one of those.
But why? TCL's 65" 6-series (FALD VA panel) is only $1K MSRP, and Vizio's non-Quantum Dot 65" P-series is also $1.2K MSRP. LG also makes a whole line of crap IPS panel TVs if IPS is what you want. This products has zero point when it won't support Freesync (more common in PC monitors) or a newer DP/HDMI spec to support higher refresh rates (although the panel probably doesn't natively support anything higher if it's crud).
Way too big as a home monitor. I did however purchase a 43-inch 4k smart tv at the local Costco and am using it as a home desktop monitor and quite please with it. Cost only set me back $297+local taxes and I can stream 4k video content, watch over-the-air local broadcasts, and currently have it connected to Google Home with ChromeCast Ultra. Longer you wait cheaper it gets....pricing on flat panel displays and TV's are continually going down in price each day

I have a 40 incher and wish it were bigger. Though 65 is a tad to big I agree. I'd really like a 55"er.JoeyJoJo123 - Thursday, December 13, 2018 - link
For what it's worth, I like the old-school remote.edzieba - Thursday, December 13, 2018 - link

Yes. Just buy a TV with a similar diagonalKevin G - Thursday, December 13, 2018 - link
For the price, you'd think it would have had an OPS slot.
